The Salisbury Tokyo Joe's second year was a consequential one. A number of students who put on White Belts that year are today among the school's most seasoned members and wisest instructors, including Shihan Lynn Barendsen, Tashi John Rossi, Tashi Colleen Poulin and Sensei Jim Poulin, who now teaches our Irish Stick Fighting class.
Sensei Joe Copello, previously of the Nashua Tokyo Joe's, joined as Senior Instructor.
